The ceremony took place during Mass at the diocesan Shrine of Santísima Trinidad in Pueblo Llano, Venezuela. The Most Reverend Helizandro Emiro TERÁN BERMÚDEZ, O.S.A. (Order of St. Augustine), newly appointed Archbishop of Mérida, Venezuela, presided.
Both friars completed their novitiate year at the Santo Antônio Friary in Cascavél, Brazil.

DURÁN ZAMBRANO; the Guardian and Rector of the Shrine, Friar José Luis AVENDAÑO MONSALVE; Friar Pedro Fidel BRICEÑO CUEVAS; Friar Jesús Aléxer RAMÍREZ DURÁN; friars from other friaries in the Custody; and many faithful, including about 560 young people.
The young people attending the simple profession were participants in the International Youth Day event. The Provincial Custos thanked the friars of the community of Pueblo Llano for the fraternal hospitality they offered the young pilgrims and he thanked the friars of the Custody who participated in this event.
