After a couple of years of uncertainty caused by the pandemic, an itinerant formation course was once again organized for friars of the Federation of Asian Minor Conventuals (FAMC). The course took place from September 18 to October 5, 2022, in Assisi.

Six friars participated: three from the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in India; two from the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception and Bl. Bonaventure of Potenza in the Philippines; and one from the Mission in Sri Lanka. Friar Benedetto BECK, the Assistant General for the FAMC Federation, and Friar Alfred PARAMBAKATHU, led the course.
Before starting their experience in Assisi, the participants visited the main places of the Order in Rome and the Vatican. Most of the course was devoted to learning about the Franciscan shrines and sites around Assisi. In addition, the friars visited other places made famous by St. Francis, such as the Rieti Valley, La Verna and Montecasale, Italy. Friar Marcello FADDA (TOR), Friar Adam MĄCZKA and Friar Guglielmo SPIRITO contributed some valuable presentations. The six attending friars also enjoyed meeting with the Minister General, Friar Carlos TROVARELLI.
The course ended on October 4, 2022, with the great celebration of the feast of St. Francis in Assisi.
