On November 29, 2020, the Feast of All Saints of the Seraphic Order, the Provincial Custody of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Brazil celebrated the renewal of vows of Friars Fernando PEREIRA DE ANDRADE JUNIOR, Jesus RODRIGUES DO AMARAL and Ricardo Elvis ARRUDA BEZERRA.
The ceremony took place at 7:00 p.m. in the church of São Francisco de Assis in Rio Comprido, Rio de Janeiro. The Provincial Custos, Friar Ronaldo GOMES DA SILVA, presided. During the celebration, Friars Jesus and Ricardo also received the Ministry of Acolyte, a truly important step on their formation path towards the ministry of priesthood.
This event took place in the context of the pandemic, with a small number of friars, family members and faithful, obeying social distancing and the strict health standards imposed by the state.
May all the Franciscan Saints intercede for our confreres, inspiring them on the path of holiness, a path which is always attractive to young students.
