On November 1, 2022, the Solemnity of All Saints, the Minister Provincial of the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in South Korea, Friar Marco Jinchol JEONG, blessed the new oratory and the four new offices in the St. Francis Friary in Seoul, the seat of the Provincial Curia.
The blessing ceremony was attended by Friar Mattia Moonki CHOI, Guardian of the friary, various other friars, and members of the Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) and the Militia of the Immaculata (M.I.).
The newly blessed oratory contains the relics of twenty-one saints and blessed, such as St. Francis, St. Clare, etc. We hope the oratory will provide an opportunity to meditate on the life journey of these saints, thus helping people feel closer to them and to the Lord.
The newly blessed offices will be used by the M.I., the publishing house, the office of communications, etc. We hope that the use of these spaces will contribute to the development of one’s charism and fraternal fellowship.
