The new newsletter of the Friars Minor Conventual is now available. It covers October through December, 2017.

Pages 3-7 concern the Minister General and his Definitory. Pages 8-16 recount current events. Page 8 highlights new developments on our path toward founding the Franciscan University. Pages 13-14 describe the Franciscans’ audience with Pope Francis and page 14 covers the Conference of our Friar Artists.
Pages 17-31 concern activities of the General Offices. Pages 19-24 highlight animation efforts by the Delegate General for Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation and the Secretariat for Mission Animation. Page 26 features a report on the General Chapter of the SFO and pages 27-28 recount events celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Militia of the Immaculate (M.I.).
The news concerning our Federations (pp.33-58) puts us in touch with the different realities of our confreres. In a special way, we remember the many collaborative efforts between various Jurisdictions in which our great diversity becomes unified in Christ.
With regard to the celebration of Chapters (pp. 59-63), we found it important to report on the erection of the new Custody of Central America (pp. 62-63).
As always, the last section (p.64) is dedicated to statistics.
We invite everyone to read the new issue. Please be sure to print out some copies of FN for friars who do not use the Internet.
