On April 16-18, 2018, fifteen friars, aged 34 to 86, gathered for three days of formation at the friary in Schwarzenberg, the spiritual retreat center of the Province of St. Elizabeth in Germany.
Friar Bernhardin M. SEITHER Minister Provincial asked Friar Leopold MADER (former Postulancy Director and Novice Master for about 30 years) to remind the friars of certain human qualities at the beginning of their religious life. In his talks, Friar Leopold spoke in particular about the prayer of St. Francis before the Cross of San Damiano and the Canticle of the Creatures.
In addition to the formation sessions, the friars also celebrated the 86th birthday of a former Minister Provincial, Friar Engelbert OTTE.
