On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, the new Pro-Vicar of the Provincial Custody of St. Anthony of Padua in Ghana, and an additional Definitor, took their oaths of office.

The Italian Province of St. Anthony of Padua (Northern Italy) [Mother Province], following the recommendations of the Custodial Definitory, and having consulted with the former Custos, elected Friar Isaac Yaw FRIMPONG as the Pro-Vicar of the Custody. His election was conditioned upon his earlier resignation as the Custodial Secretary in order to be able to take this new office (Const. 195 par.1).
Friar Pius Kofi ASARE was appointed as an additional Definitor and was approved by the Province to be the Custodial Secretary, thus replacing Friar Isaac. The newly elected took their oaths of office at the St. Francis of Assisi Friary/Novitiate in Saltpond and commenced work immediately.
