On Monday, March 6, 2023, a fire destroyed the friary in Nigawa District, Japan. Fortunately, none of the three friars living there were injured.
The Blessed Virgin Mary, Mediatrix of Grace Friary is located in Hyogo Prefecture. The local police are still investigating the cause of the fire in the friary.
While we thank God that no one was injured during this incident, let us also pray for the friars in Nigawa.
