In April of 2024, God blessed the Conventual Franciscan Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in India with an abundance of new priests. On April 8, at 8:45 a.m., Friar Don (Sebastian) VALIYAPARAMBIL was ordained to the priesthood through the consecratory prayer and imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend Joseph PAMPLANY, Archbishop of Tellicherry, India. Friar Don’s ordination and first Mass took place at St. Thomas Forane Church, Thomapuram in Chittarikkal, India.

On April 9, at 9:00 a.m., Friar Jithin (Kuriakose) THANUPARAMPIL was ordained to the priesthood through the consecratory prayer and imposition of the hands of Archbishop PAMPLANY. The ordination took place at St. Sebastian Church in Kozhichal, India.
On April 13, at 9:15 a.m., Friar Tijo (Augustine) VELLACHALIL, was ordained to the priesthood through the consecratory prayer and imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend Joseph KALLARANGATT, Bishop of Palai, India. The ordination took place at Friar Tijo’s home Parish of St. John the Baptist in Ezhacherry, India.
On April 15, at 9:00 a.m., Friar Jibin (Thomas) THEKKINEN was ordained to the priesthood through the consecratory prayer and imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend Bosco PUTHUR, Apostolic Administrator of Ernakulam-Angamaly, India. The ordination took place at Mary Immaculate Church in Vimalagiri, India.
Finally, on April 17, at 2:00 p.m., Friar Victor PALLIPADAN was ordained to the priesthood through the consecratory prayer and imposition of the hands of the Most Reverend Pauly KANNOOKADAN, Bishop of Irinjalakuda, India. The ordination took place at Little Flower Church in Kumbidy, India.
Heavenly graces and goodness abounded at each of these events.
