On November 8-13, 2022, a school retreat dedicated to the evangelization of the Immaculata took place at the Niepokalanów Lasek friary in Poland, a presence of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw).
The participants were divided into two groups, led by Friars Grzegorz M. OWSIANKO and Arkadiusz BĄK.
The first group explored themes related to asceticism, namely, working on one’s own spiritual development. They discussed prayer, vices and virtues, the decision-making process and the examination of conscience.
The second group reflected on the pillars of the Franciscan charism, which gave rise to the Militia of the Immaculata. The participants took part in some traditional Franciscan events and addressed issues dealing with the gift of charisms in the Church.
The retreat was a time of intensive prayer. It was also an opportunity to learn new things, and take part in many valuable encounters and stimulating conversations.
