Peace and All Good! On June 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the participants in the 203rd Ordinary General Chapter shared their first pre-Chapter lunch in the Sixtus V Hall of the Seraphicum College in Rome.
This evening, the Ordinary General Chapter of the Conventual Franciscan Order will officially begin with Mass celebrated at 6:45 p.m.
We remind all the friars to pray for the Capitulars so that they may discern well during the course of the Chapter, and that the light of the Holy Spirit may illuminate their minds, their hearts, and the future of our beloved Seraphic Order.
Since the day that the Minister General, Friar Carlos A. TROVARELLI, announced and convoked the General Chapter (December 31, 2024), we have been praying using the prayer intentions designated “Before the Chapter,” which were added to the intercessions of Morning and Evening Prayer. Today, as we begin the Chapter, we are called to pray using the intentions designated “During the Chapter”
