The Congregation for Catholic Education has extended the mandate of Friar Đình Anh Nhue NGUYÉN, the Dean of the Pontifical Theological Faculty of St. Bonaventure (Seraphicum) in Rome. Friar Đình had been appointed for a two-year term in March of 2016.
The Minister General of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual and Grand Chancellor of the Faculty, Friar Marco TASCA, made the request in consideration of the ongoing process to establish the Franciscan University.
Friar Đình belongs to the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw). He was born in Qui Nhon, Vietnam, on October 24 1970; he made his solemn profession on October 4, 2001 and was ordained a priest on June 21, 2003.
