On October 1, 2018, fifty Conventual Franciscans from the Province of St. Elizabeth in Germany gathered at the friary in Würzburg for their annual fraternal meeting.

The fifty friars came from various friaries in Germany, including those belonging to different Provincial Delegations (from Holland and the three Provinces in Poland). There were also friars present from the Provincial Custody of St. Leopold and St. Nicolas of Flüe in Austria-Switzerland.
After celebrating Mass and hearing some news from the Minister Provincial, Friar Bernhardin M. SEITHER, the friars visited the restored friary. Everyone appreciated the work that was done.
In the afternoon, the friars took a scheduled cruise on the Main River, from Würzburg to Veitshöchheim, where they visited the parish church and the rococo garden.
The Province of Germany is part of the CEF federation (Centralis Europae Foederatio) whose other members include the Jurisdictions of Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Holland, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.
