After a long wait, the General Secretariat finally has a complete group of translators.
Friar Aurelio ERCOLI is from the Italian Province of St. Francis of Assisi (Central Italy). He has been a member of the General Curia community since October 10, 2017. He is now responsible for translations in Italian as well as doing editorial work on texts for the website of the Order and the Fraternus Nuntius newsletter.
Friar Aurelio was born in Macerata, Italy, on March 21, 1965. He professed his temporary vows on August 28, 1991, his solemn vows on October 1, 1995, and was ordained a priest on September 27, 1997.
Friar Roberto BRANDINELLI, from the Italian Province of St. Anthony of Padua (Northern Italy) was previously in charge of this task and carried it out for a number of years. However, he was recently elected to serve as the Vicar Provincial of his Province.
Friar Alejandro PALACIOS VÁZQUEZ is from the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico. He has been a member of the General Curia community since August 8, 2017. He is now responsible for translations in Spanish.
Friar Alejandro was born in Acapulco, Mexico, on January 25, 1978. He professed his temporary vows on August 8, 1998, his solemn vows on January 17, 2006, and was ordained a priest on September 22, 2007.
Friar Alejandro replaces Friar Indalecio MÍNGUEZ GONZÁLEZ from the Province of Our Lady of Montserrat in Spain, who carried out this task for several years.
