Wednesday, March 31, 2021, marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Friar Wenanty KATARZYNIEC. The Friars Minor Conventual are inaugurating a year dedicated to this Venerable Servant of God.

The inaugural celebrations for our confrere, a candidate for canonization, will begin at his tomb at the shrine in Kalwaria Pacławska near Przemyśl, Poland. The ceremony will be broadcast by FARA Radio and Television (https://fara.tv/).
At 3:00 p.m., there will be a lecture and the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. At 5:00 p.m., the Rosary will be recited.  At 6:00 p.m., Mass will be celebrated with the Most Reverend Adam SZAL, Archbishop of Przemyśl, presiding. Friar Marian GOŁĄB, the Minister Provincial of the Province of St. Anthony and of Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) will also be present.
