Friar Germano SCAGLIONI (Professor of New Testament studies) has been reconfirmed as the Vice-Dean of the Pontifical Theological Faculty of St. Bonaventure (Seraphicum) of the Friars Minor Conventual in Rome.

The Faculty Council, unanimously re-elected him Vice-Dean at its session on Friday, March 29, 2019. The session was also attended by the Vice Chancellor and Vicar of the Order, Friar Jerzy NOREL. The Dean is Friar Đình Anh Nhue NGUYÉN, who was recently confirmed by the Congregation for Catholic Education.
Friar Germano was born in Fidenza, Province of Parma, Italy, on December 24, 1961. He professed his solemn vows on September 30, 1995, and was ordained to the priesthood on June 28, 1997. In addition to teaching at the Seraphicum and the Antonianum Pontifical University, he holds the position of Director of the bimonthly theology magazine “Credere Oggi” [Believing Today], published by Messaggero Edizioni Padova, and is editor of the monthly magazine “San Bonaventura informa”[St. Bonaventure Informs].
During the same session, the Faculty Council elected Friar Stanisław BAZYLIŃSKI as a member of the Dean’s Council.
