On November 23, 2020, the formators of the Provincial Custody of Our Lady of Coromoto in Venezuela met to review the guidelines for the different levels of formation.

The meeting was divided into two sessions. The first session was held on November 23, 2020, at the San José de Cupertino Postulancy House. The second session took place on November 27 at the San Antonio de Padua Post-Novitiate House; both in Palmyra, Venezuela. Those attending the formation meeting included the Directors of the Postulancy Program, Friars Carlos Ramón ORTÍZ ROJAS and Ramón Alfredo RUI UREÑA; the Directors of the Novitiate, Friar Jesús Aléxer RAMÍREZ DURÁN; and the Director of the Post-Novitiate, Friar Domicio Ramón MOLINA PÉREZ. The Provincial Custos, Friar Franklin Antonio DURÁN ZAMBRANO, was also present. For the time being, he has been collaborating in the post-novitiate program while waiting for Friar Pedro Javier MORA ALVIAREZ to join Friar Domicio.
This was the Custody’s second formation meeting of the year. Its main objective was to respond to today’s formation challenges so that the confreres in initial formation can witness to the world the joy of living for the Kingdom of God, offering their lives with generosity in the Conventual Franciscan family, through integral formation.
The formation meeting took place in a fraternal atmosphere of reciprocal listening. It collected various contributions and reflections on the documents presented, which, in turn, will be used to create a final draft of the Directory for Formation in the Custody.
