The 2019 special edition of <i>Commentarium Ordinis</i> is now available. This issue contains the minutes of the 2019 study conference which examined the proper law of the Order and the text of the General Statutes approved by the 2019 Ordinary General Chapter.
The first part of this special edition of Commentarium Ordinis contains the minutes of the study conference. The conference was presented by the Office of the Procurator General. It took place on March 21-23, 2019, at the Seraphicum College in Rome. The text of the minutes was edited by the Procurator General, Friar Maurizio DI PAOLO and the Head of the Seraphicum Press Office, Elisabetta LO IACONO. The study conference also discussed other topics such as the revised Constitutions (p. 9), the General Statutes (p. 41) and the abandonment of religious life (p. 103).
In the second part of the special edition, one can find the official text of the General Statutes (p. 141), which went into effect on August 14, 2019, the feast day of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe. The index of the General Statutes is also included (p. 245).
