On March 21, 2023, two friars from the Province of the Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M. in Japan were ordained to the priesthood. The event took place at the Cathedral of Santa Maria in Tokyo.
The new priests are Friars Michael Akira TOYAMA and Timothy M. Kosuke NAKANORI. They were ordained together with a Paulist, a Redemptorist and two diocesan candidates.
The Mass of Ordination was presided over by the Most Reverend Tarcisio Isao KIKUCHI (Divine Word Missionaries), Archbishop of Tokyo, Japan.
May the newly ordained be faithful to the ministry they have received and show great love to the people of God that will be entrusted to them.
