On Thursday March 12, 2020, the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdansk) conducted a presentation rite for its new Provincial Minister, Friar Wojciech KULIG (first term). The ceremony was held at the Church of Św. Jakuba Apostoła in Lębork, Poland. The Minister General, Friar Carlos A. TROVARELLI, was also present.
The Minister Provincial was recently elected by letter. During the ceremony, he made his profession of faith before the Minister General and other confreres. Next, the friars sang the “Te Deum” and hugged the new Minister Provincial, as a sign of their obedience and best wishes.
On the same day, the Chapter elected the new Provincial Definitors. They are: Friars Andrzej LENGENFELD (Provincial Vicar); Piotr KUREK (Provincial Secretary); Stanisław PIANKOWSKI, Piotr Rafał PLISZKA and Robert WOŁYNIEC (Definitors); and Friar Bogdan WROŃSKI (Provincial Econom).
