Some time ago, the Minister Provincial of the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw) approached me with the proposal that I take on the position of Editor in Chief of the Knight of the Immaculata magazine, starting in January of 2021.

This proposal surprised me a lot. So I asked him to give me a few days to think about it, knowing this would be a big job. Weighing the arguments for and against did not give me peace of mind. Finally, something occurred to me which I found irresistible and made me say yes to the proposal.
I realized that I am the same age as St. Maximilian KOLBE was when his apostolic work and his earthly life came to an end. He died in the Auschwitz concentration camp when he was forty-seven and a half years old. He left behind a friary in Niepokalanów, a publishing house and the Knight of the Immaculata magazine.
As I assume the responsibility of editor in chief of our magazine, I am exactly forty-seven and a half years old. I feel that the job before me is a continuation of what the Saint of Niepokalanów started and developed. I am not another Maximilian, but I firmly believe that he will support me in this great work and that his holy hand will guide this effort. With this awareness, I wish to continue Father KOLBE’s work, trusting that “the Immaculata will take care of everything.”
The second issue of the Knight has just been published under the new editorial staff /management. Thanks to a suggestion from one of our readers, we took the initiative to record an audio version of the Knight! Unfortunately, this audiobook is only available in Polish. Perhaps in the future, we will be able to create versions in different languages. The first issue is already available for listening on the website (rycerzniepokalanej.pl), as well as on YouTube (Redakcja Rycerz Niepokalanej). We hope this is a good way to make the magazine accessible to all sick people and to those who have difficulty reading and prefer to listen rather than read.
