The song “I Will Follow You” (lyrics and music by Friar Marcin SARNA) was released on September 17, 2022, by some young friars of the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) and of the Provincial Custody of the Holy Cross in Ukraine. The friars professing their simple vows that day. They dedicated the song to all those who were, are, or ever will be, their guides. Writing on social media, they gave particular credit to their Novice Master, Friar Dariusz SOWA, who “with true fatherly love and patience, showed us the way to go, gave us guidance and equipped us for the lifelong path of vocation. Deo gratias!”
Having completed their postulancy and novitiate programs, the newly professed friars are ready for the next phase of their formation. On October 1, the five newly professed friars (three from the Province of Cracow and two from the Custody of Ukraine) will begin their philosophical and theological studies at the Faculty of Theology, Center of Franciscan Studies of the Pontifical University of John Paul II University in Cracow.
