First Meeting of the Committee for the Revision of the Directory for the Celebration of Chapters

On Saturday and Sunday, February 8-9, 2020, the members of the working group of the Committee for the Revision of the Directories for the Celebration of General, Provincial and Custodial Chapters, met together in Assisi. The Committee was established on December 13, 2019.

The working group is comprised of Friars Jorge Rolando FERNÁNDEZ from the Federación América Latina Conventuales (FALC); Robert LEŻOHUPSKI from the Foederatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis (FEMO); and Francesco PANIZZOLO from the Federazione Intermediterranea Ministri Provinciali (FIMP).
During this first meeting, the group considered some proposals that had been presented to them earlier. Then, they began the work of processing the material that has been collected so far.
One should mention that the Committee also includes a consultation group, which is comprised of Friars Vitus MENSAH from the African Federation of Conventual Franciscans (AFCOF); Janez KURBUS from the Centralis Europae Foederatio (CEF); Timothy KULBICKI from the Conventual Franciscan Federation (CFF); Maximilianus SEMBIRING from the Federation of Asian Minors Conventual (FAMC); Marco MORONI (FIMP) and Gianni CAPPELLETTO (FIMP).
