In preparation for the Ordinary Custodial Chapter of the Custody of Tanzania, scheduled for August of 2021, the Assistant General for the African Federation of Conventual Franciscans (AFCOF), Friar Anthony Bezo KUTIERO, together with the General Exactor, Friar Leszek M. Łuczkanin, are conducting a general canonical visitation to the said Custody.
The visitation began on May 1, 2021, at Arusha. While visiting the Morogoro community, which houses the first-year postulancy program, the Assistant General took the opportunity to meet and interact with the twelve first-year postulants. He explained the significance of the canonical visitation and how the Order is structured. This was something totally new for many of them. However, it should be noted that they were very happy to learn about the structure they have chosen to belong to. May God water and nourish these little seedlings of vocation in Morogoro.
