From June 26 to July 3, 2019, the second part of a study meeting on Clarean spirituality took place at the Honoratianum Spirituality Center in Zakroczym, Poland. The theme of the meeting was “Clare and Her Form of Life: A Spiritual Reading of the Rule of Saint Clare of Assisi”.

The opening Mass was celebrated by the Vice President of the Conference of Franciscan Ministers Provincial in Poland, Friar Tomasz ŻAK, OFM Cap. The meeting was led by Friar Wiesław BLOCK, OFM Cap., who hails from Rome. Sisters from the four branches of the Order of Poor Clares in Poland took part in the meeting.
Diplomas certifying the completion of this two-year study program were signed by Friar Luca BIANCHI, OFM Cap., President of the Franciscan Institute of Spirituality of the Pontifical University Antonianum in Rome; Friar Bernard MARCINIAK, OFM, President of the Conference of Franciscan Provincials in Poland; and Friar Andrzej ZAJĄC, OFM Conv., Director of the Institute of Franciscan Studies in Cracow, Poland.
In addition to the intensive schedule of conferences, workshops, meetings and prayer, there was also a pilgrimage to Niepokalanów, Poland.
