On March 14-15, 2018, Friar Jarosław WYSOCZAŃSKI, the Secretary General for Mission Animation (SGAM) met with the Provincial Secretaries for Missionary Animation from the three Provinces in Poland. The meeting took place at the friary in Warsaw.
The participants included Friar Eugeniusz RÓŻAŃSKI from the Province of the Immaculate Mother of God in Poland (Warsaw); Friar Dariusz GACZYŃSKI from the Province of St. Anthony and Bl. James of Strepar in Poland (Cracow) and Friar Robert KOZIELSKI from the Province of St. Maximilian M. Kolbe in Poland (Gdańsk).
The main theme of the meeting was fostering collaborative mission promotion among all the Provinces of the Federatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis (FEMO).
The secretaries reported on their latest activities and the practical, collaborative initiatives between our friars and those of other Provinces within the Franciscan Family (OFM and OFM Cap.).
Friar Jarosław reported on SGAM activities; the revision of the Directory for Missions; the promotion of the feast day of the Martyrs of Peru; the preparatory courses in Brussels for new missionaries; and various emerging missions. In September of this year, there will be a workshop for new Provincial mission animators who are members of the Federazione Inter-mediterranea Ministri Provinciali (FIMP) and the Federatio Europae Mediae et Orientalis (FEMO).
